Japanese Traditional

Hana Kato Where ancient traditions meet modern skin.

Honoring centuries of Japanese tattooing tradition with irezumi that tells stories of courage, beauty, and cultural heritage.

Hana Kato

The Artist

I'm Hana. My journey with Japanese traditional tattooing began in my grandmother's stories of our family's artistic heritage. I specialize in irezumi -- the ancient art of Japanese tattooing that combines bold outlines, vibrant colors, and deep cultural symbolism. From majestic dragons and fierce tigers to delicate cherry blossoms and flowing koi, every piece I create honors the traditions passed down through generations.

My work bridges the gap between ancient wisdom and modern expression, creating tattoos that are both timeless and deeply personal.
